Federal funds now available for flight training

By Janice Wood · December 21, 2010 ·

Aerosim Flight Academy in Sanford, Florida, has obtained Title IV funding, which means it can offer many types of federal loan and grant programs, including Pell Grants, Parent Plus Loans, and Stafford Loans.

Aerosim is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. The academy is also a provider of FITS training, the FAA Industry Training Standard.

Aerosim Flight Academy offers a variety of flight training programs, including private and instrument courses, commercial multi- or single-engine training, high altitude, and certified flight instructor courses. As a Cirrus Training Center, Aerosim Flight Academy also provides training for aviation enthusiasts with their Cirrus-specific training courses. The academy’s flight training curriculum uses technologically advanced Flight Training Devices and software.

The academy also provides pilot finance loan products. Pilot Finance works with students seeking part-time flight training. For veterans, the Montgomery GI-bill, Chapter 30 or Chapter 1606 provide educational benefits, supplementing up to 60% of the approved training curriculum.
