FBO rolls back fuel prices

By Janice Wood · May 18, 2011 ·

US Aviation Services at Denton Airport (DTO) in Texas has kicked off its FBO or “Fuel Blow Out” promotion, rolling back fuel prices.

FBO officials note that prices will fluctuate with the market. The promotion will last until July 1.

“We’re doing our part to encourage flying as we ease into the summer,” said Scott Severen, Director of Business Development at US Aviation Services. “By rolling back prices to levels comparable to last summer, we’re hoping show pilots value, and how convenient our services are.”

US Aviation is a full service Executive FBO that delivers quick turn fuel services, maintenance and avionics service and parts for most GA and corporate aircraft.

Nice idea. Why not really do something for pilots though and sell autogas? It sells for $1.50 less than Avgas, on average and is likely not to increase in price as fast as Avgas, produced in tiny volumes by comparison.
