The Florida Aviation Trades Association will present “Beyond the Runway…Why General Aviation Means Business” June 15 at the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.
The breakfast program, slated for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., is designed to inform non-aviation businesses and the general public about the positive and significant ways general aviation affects their lives on a daily basis, according to FATA officials.
The economic and social impact in the state of Florida is significant, officials note. In addition to the commercial airline activity at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, general aviation plays a large role in the economy for both Sarasota and Manatee Counties, they say.
Community aviation businesses and agencies will attend the presentation to tell attendees about their business and services. FATA members will also be on hand to answer any aviation questions they might have. It will be informative and entertaining, FATA officials promise.
There is no charge to attend the program, but officials do ask you to RSVP by June 10 to confirm your attendance. RSVP to [email protected] or call 321-383-9662.
