Iowa Aviation Plan released

By Janice Wood · June 29, 2011 ·

The Iowa Department Of Transportation Office of Aviation has released the 2010-2030 Iowa Aviation System Plan that evaluates Iowa’s air transportation system and makes recommendations for future development to meet the needs of users over the next 20 years.

Federal, state and local decision makers are expected to use the plan as a guide for future decisions related to maintaining and developing airports in the state of Iowa, officials note.

The system plan includes an executive summary, a full technical report, and individual reports for every public-owned airport in Iowa. To view the plan, go to 2010-2030 Iowa Aviation System Plan.
