Al Conklin Scholarship deadline looming

By Janice Wood · July 10, 2011 ·

The deadline for students to apply for the Al Conklin Scholarship is July 29. Each year, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and Conklin & de Decker award $5,000 to a student who is enrolled in an aviation management program at a University Aviation Association (UAA) member school.

Scholarships will be awarded for the 2011-2012 academic year, and checks will be made payable to the school. Awards will be made to U.S. citizens or permanent residents without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin, according to company officials. Scholarship recipients must use the funds by Oct. 31, 2012.
