Club Glove sponsors Young Eagles Celebrity Golf Classic

By Janice Wood · July 25, 2011 ·

Club Glove, which designs and manufactures golf bags, club covers, travel bags, accessories and luggage, will be a sponsor of EAA AirVenture’s Young Eagles Celebrity Golf Classic on Wednesday, July 27.

The company also is exhibiting on the grounds during the week-long show at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.

Featuring popular sports and aviation celebrities such as Ken Griffey Jr., Thurman Thomas, Sean Tucker and Mike Goulian, the annual charity golf tournament held at Oshkosh Country Club raises money to fund programs for more than 80,000 youth pilots.

“Supporting the EAA Young Eagles is an investment to strengthen the aviation community, a valued market segment for Club Glove products,” says Jeff Herold, company founder and a private pilot. “Our extremely lightweight, ultra-durable luggage is designed to perfectly mesh with the needs of pilots and is the preferred choice of commercial and recreational flyers.”
