Superior Air Parts rolls back prices

By Janice Wood · July 25, 2011 ·

Cost cutting initiatives at Superior Air Parts has led the company to roll back prices on select components and parts.

“As we continue to bring our key component and parts suppliers back on line and increase our efficiency we have been able to re-evaluate pricing on many of our piece parts and components,” stated Tim Archer, CEO, Superior Air Parts, Inc. “We have made the strategic decision to pass those savings along in the form of rolled back pricing to our distributors, engine maintenance and overhaul customers.

“It’s our way of showing the individual engine maintenance and overhaul shops that we truly appreciate their support of our ongoing efforts to return our business back to its previous levels,” he continued. “What better way to say ‘thank you’ than by saving someone some money?”

The price rollbacks are applicable to a number of the company’s FAA-approved Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) parts and components including:

• SA47006L-A20P Millennium Cylinder Assembly

• SL10302-A21P Millennium Cylinder Assembly

• SA642318 P05 Valve Seat

• SL12033-SC Gasket Set

• SL75061 Rod Bolt

“While we certainly anticipate being able to hold these new lower prices for the remainder of this year, we cannot guarantee it,” he added. “In today’s economy, the prices of raw materials and other factors are very volatile. If a shop wants to make sure they can buy the parts and components they’ll need at these lower prices, they should place their order soon.”
