Cessna recently expanded its agreement with Michelin, Cessna’s long-term business jet tire supplier, to have the company supply tires for the piston aircraft line. Nearly all Cessna piston aircraft, as well as a majority of Citation business jets, will now be fitted with Michelin tires, according to Michelin officials.
In December 2010, Michelin signed a five-year contract to supply Cessna piston and jet aircraft with original equipment tires. With the contract, Michelin became the aircraft manufacturer’s leading tire supplier, according to company officials.
