West Star names new operations manager at SUS

West Star Aviation recently appointed Jeff Messmer operations manager at its newest facility at Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS) in Chesterfield, Mo.

With over 20 years of aircraft experience, Messmer began his career as an aircraft structural technician for the U.S. Army. Most recently, he held the position of Bombardier Customer Support Manager for Midcoast Aviation. He has completed training at numerous technical schools, including Gulfstream III Maintenance Initial, Falcon 2000EX Maintenance Initial, and Lear 45/45XR Maintenance Initial.

In his new position at West Star Aviation, he will be responsible for all maintenance, avionics and customer service and support operations at the Chesterfield location.

West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows, and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paint and parts.

It has facilities in East Alton, Ill; Grand Junction, Colo.; Columbia, S.C.; and Dallas, and runs the maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colo., and at Spirit of St. Louis Airport. For more information: WestStarAviation.com or 800-922-2421
