AnywhereEducation has completed the purchase of MS Aviation’s aviation education content.
MS Aviation, a San Jose, Calif.-based company, is an aviation content provider with a full suite of certification courses from Sport, Private, and Multi-Engine through Commercial Pilot and CFI, in addition to a large line of non-certification aviation courses such as “Using the G1000,” “Using the Garmin 530/430” and more.
AnywhereEducation, a Tampa, Fla.-based company, provides a multimedia online and mobile learning management platform that enables content providers to present their courses, videos, ebooks and other media to users regardless of which device they may currently own. AnywhereEducation synchronizes student progress across all devices so that a user is free to learn with any device at any time, and instructors can monitor their progress at a glance, company officials said.
As a part of the purchase of MS Aviation’s aviation education content, MS Aviation’s current staff will continue to develop and support the content, but as the new Aviation Content Division of AnywhereEducation, to be headed up by Mike Shiflett as the new Director of Aviation Content, managing all aspects of aviation-related content and aviation business development within the company.
