Not only did the top eight Hawker Beechcraft executives not get the $5.328 million in bonuses they were asking for, they also got a bit of a tongue lashing from United States Bankruptcy Judge Stuart M. Bernstein, according to a report at AOPA.org. The judge said it looked to him like the money was a retention payment, and that’s not allowed under bankruptcy laws.
