Idaho Aviation Expo set for May

By Janice Wood · January 29, 2013 ·

The Idaho Aviation Expo, formerly known as Trade Show Aviation Idaho, will be held May 17-18, 2013 at Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA).

In its third year, the expo will feature new and vintage aircraft, maintenance and avionics, clubs and associations, workshops and speakers, and all other things aviation related in Aero Mark’s 30,000-square-f00t hangar.

Held in conjunction with the Idaho Aviation Association’s Annual Meeting, the expo is open to everyone interested in or involved in general aviation. Richard Holm, author of Bound for the Backcountry: A History of Idaho’s Remote Airstrips, will be signing his book and giving a presentation on his research during the expo.

Last year’s show featured, among the 37 exhibitors, new aircraft displays from Aviat, Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Cirrus, Piper and Quest.
