With the help of grants and fundraising, the Tacoma Narrows Airport (TIW) in Washington state will soon have a play area. According to a report at Gateline.com, a tower structure play and observation area will be built at the airport, partly funded with a $25,000 grant from the Gig Harbor Morning Rotary Club. To raise additional funds, The Friends of the Tacoma Narrows Airport will put out a calendar this month featuring aerial photos of the area. Find out more here.
