I needed a new kneeboard for my iPad Air, which is thinner than the iPad 2 I had to replace. One problem with this item is that there is no curved subsurface, which makes the iPad feel rather insecure on one’s leg. I’m using it with the iPad in a carrying case, and while it feels more secure, it’s still not satisfactory.
