Aviation in the movies will be the focus of the Living History Flying Day Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, Calif.
Beginning at 10 a.m., The Living History Day will feature the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk.
Featured speakers are Mark Carlson, author of “Flying On Film: A Century of Aviaiton in the Movies, 1912-2012,” and William Wellman, Jr., actor and author of “The Man and His Wings: William A. Wellman and the Making of the First Best Picture.”
The P-40 Warhawk will be on display and perform a flight demonstration (when possible).
