Quadruple rent hike proposed at Hawaii’s Kalaeloa Airport

By General Aviation News Staff · January 15, 2015 ·

Tenants at the Kalaeloa Airport (PHJR) said they’re being driven out by soaring rents and heavy-handed management policies. According to a report at HawaiiNewsNow, the state is proposing a quadruple increase in rents at the general aviation airport, which is the state’s No. 2 airport. The story quotes GA pilot Tony Ferrara: “They don’t want general aviation. They are not here to make general aviation thrive. They are not assisting general aviation in any sense of the word.”
