Replacement air conditioning introduced for King Airs

By General Aviation News Staff · August 20, 2015 ·

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Peter Schiff Aero has appointed Genesis Aircraft Support as the worldwide distributor for the new PSA 830 CCA Air Conditioning System for Beechcraft King Air 200/300 and 350 series aircraft.

RaisbeckKingAirThis direct replacement of the original factory air conditioning eliminates the common reliability and performance problems inherent in the original system, according to company officials, who note it also weighs 15 pounds less.

The new design uses an environmentally friendly blend of R-134A and RU-22. Additionally, it can operate on the ground with 110/220v power.

“There is no need to run an engine or even use an APU to pre-cool the cabin,” says Peter Schiff, CEO and founder of Peter Schiff Aero.

Since Beechcraft’s King Air is the most popular corporate turboprop ever built, with over 6,000 units delivered since 1964, it makes perfect sense that third party companies would come up with innovative modifications for most King Air models.

Peter – Great product improvement – Congratulations.
PS – Wonder is those nifty Swept-Blade Quiet Props come with it? (Picture from Raisbeck Engineering 2013 Press Release).

Thank you James! We should include the props with every AC system! And vice versa. It’s a great system which we are expecting to do well in the market.
