There is something very addictive about flying micro/ultralights, powered sailing and hang gliding. I flew a Australian built micro-light called ‘Gemini Thruster’. The amazing quality of that airplane was: you took off at 45 knots, cruised at 45 knots and landed with 45 knots. If your engine quit for some reason, you nosed down to get 45 knots. Because of the high drag at zero thrust, it was important to maintain that 45 knots glide speed. Had a 50 cc Rotax engine.
