Quest Aircraft Company reported at AirVenture 2016 that it has recently completed Phase I of its facility expansion. The new building addition was officially dedicated in a ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in June.

In fall 2015, Quest began the initial construction of an expansion at its Sandpoint, Idaho, headquarters, which when complete will nearly double the Kodiak production facility. The completed Phase I addition added 27,000 square feet of space, bringing the current building to 110,000 square feet.
“As worldwide demand for the Kodiak increases, our production capacity needs to expand,” said Sam Hill, Quest President and Chief Executive Officer. “Over the last few years, we have been steadily ramping up production of the Kodiak, and this expansion will ensure that we efficiently meet market demand.”
The new addition was dedicated to the memory of Dave Clark, a Quest employee and key member of the expansion team. A plaque honoring his memory is mounted on the wall of the new addition.
