New app helps GA aircraft owners find maintenance and more

By General Aviation News Staff · December 2, 2020 ·

The early access version of TallyHo!, a new aviation-centric app that provides users with information about general aviation service providers, is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The beta version of TallyHo! is free to all users, while service providers are promoted through a monthly or annual subscription. More than 60 general aviation service providers have signed up as launch partners, according to company officials.

And so far, with interest spread only by word-of-mouth, TallyHo! has been downloaded by approximately 1,000 general aviation users, officials report.

TallyHo! enables GA aircraft owners to locate, assess, engage, rate, and review service providers for various activities, including airframe and engine maintenance, avionics, paint and interior, pre-departure services like detailing or catering, and ownership services such as aviation attorneys, accountants, brokers, consultants and more.

“TallyHo! provides a very interactive and engaging experience, while allowing service providers to highlight their most defining features to attract and retain new customers. TallyHo! helps consumers connect with service providers as quickly as possible, and facilitates their informed decision making,” said TallyHo! Apps Founder and CEO Byron Severson.
