
HIGHLAND PARK, Illinois — Business aviation industry veteran Dave Coleman has launched Coleman Jet Solutions, a boutique aircraft transaction firm that provides technical, regulatory and financial advisory services to those looking to buy an airplane.
“The way brokerages have traditionally approached the market is outdated. The equipment is too advanced and the market too complex for the transaction to be managed by a single point of contact,” Coleman says.
Coleman Jet Solutions solves this problem by providing a team of industry veterans that have nearly 100 years of collective experience, he notes.
In addition, Coleman Jet Solutions is bucking the trend towards integrating aircraft transaction services with other related business, he says.
“I like to use the word fiduciary,” says Coleman. “We have no stake in the management, operation, or maintenance of your aircraft. When we recommend a course of action it’s for the sole benefit of the client, not because we are growing wallet share.”
Coleman has been in the aviation industry for more than 30 years, most recently with Duncan Aviation. He has over 7,000 hours of flight time in more than 40 aircraft makes and models. He has served in technical, operational, and management roles in both the business and commercial aviation industry, with experience in aircraft leasing and finance, company officials note.
