Largest all-electric fuel truck unveiled

By General Aviation News Staff · October 16, 2025 · 2 Comments

The fuel truck made its debut at the 2025 National Business Aviation Association convention.

Skymark Refuelers, in partnership with World Fuel Services and Clay Lacy Aviation, have unveiled the country’s largest all-electric aircraft fuel truck: A 7,000-gallon EV Refueler designed for sustainable fueling operations at airports nationwide.

Features include:

  • All-electric drivetrain delivering zero-emission fueling operations
  • Largest EV refueler to date with a 7,000-gallon capacity
  • PTO shaft-driven pump for fuel transfer
  • Smart monitoring and built-in safety systems.

The truck will be deployed in active operations with Clay Lacy Aviation, supported by World Fuel Services, according to company officials.

Founded in 1968 by legendary aviator and industry pioneer Clay Lacy, Clay Lacy Aviation has aircraft operations across the U.S., including FBOs at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, and Connecticut’s Waterbury-Oxford Airport, with a future location in Sun Valley, Idaho. Clay Lacy also operates FAA Part 145 aircraft maintenance centers in Los Angeles and Oxford, Connecticut.

Does anyone see the lack of logic in worrying about using one gallon of truck fuel to deliver several thousand gallons of Jet-A?
