SKYSCHOLAR expands services

By General Aviation News Staff · October 25, 2025 · Leave a Comment

SKYSCHOLAR, an aviation education company, has launched a new service to help aspiring pilots maximize their scholarship earnings and increase their odds of acceptance into college flight schools.

SKYSCHOLAR has introduced a $99 Essay Review service that enables students to get one-on-one advising, live edits, and recommendations for their application essays.

According to Luke Pylypciw, Founder and President, students who sign up for the service will learn:

  • How to turn their aviation journey into a compelling, well-articulated story
  • How to tailor their essay to appeal to the school or scholarship committee reviewing their application
  • How to differentiate their application from other applicants.

Pylypciw noted that the growing number of aspiring pilots has created a competitive environment at colleges offering aviation degrees. The influx of new student pilots has also caused prices to skyrocket, costing students upwards of $250,000 for a college education.
