The Flight School Association of North America (FSANA) will host its 17th annual International Flight School Operators Conference & Trade Show, Feb. 25-27, 2026, in San Diego.
The conference brings together flight school owners, managers, chief instructors, aviation businesses, supply chain partners, and government officials for three days of learning, networking, and industry advancement, according to organizers.
Events include 19 education sessions, three general sessions, roundtable workshops, and a trade show with more than 60 exhibitors.
“Flight training is undergoing tremendous change — and tremendous opportunity,” said FSANA President and CEO Robert Rockmaker. “This conference is where savvy operators get aligned with regulatory shifts, meet the partners shaping tomorrow’s technology, and discover the strategies that attract and retain more students. If you want your school to grow faster and compete smarter, this is the place to be.”
The 2026 conference’s expanded programming includes seven more education sessions than in 2025, with four key track themes focused on:
- Safety
- Vendor Showcase
- Business of Flight Training
- CFI/Student Success
General sessions will deliver updates from the FAA, NTSB, and other federal agencies, plus a Q&A with experts shaping the future of flight training regulation and modernization, organizers noted.
The exhibit hall opens the evening of Feb. 25 and remains active throughout the event, giving attendees direct access to aircraft, simulators, software, and more.
Accreditation Workshop
The Flight School Accreditation Workshop returns as a separately registered pre-conference event designed to help independent flight schools navigate accreditation requirements and gain access to expanded student financing pathways. Slated for Feb. 24, 2026, workshop attendance is required for schools pursuing accreditation.
