Aviation Law Firm Takes Flight in Tennessee

By General Aviation News Staff · January 21, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Lawyer and pilot Edward A. Hadley has founded Aero Legal Advocates, offering legal counsel to clients across the aviation industry from his base in Brentwood, Tennessee.

With a career spanning over three decades, Hadley brings a blend of legal experience and aviation experience to the firm. Born into a family of aviators in West Tennessee, Hadley’s connection to flight began in childhood, inspired by his father, a corporate pilot and aircraft owner. That lifelong passion steadily fueled a growing aviation law practice, according to Hadley.

He is joined at the new firm by pilot-attorneys Jake B. Callaham, Chris Hughston, II, and Mark Blount.

The firm represents a range of aviation professionals and entities, including aircraft owners, pilots, mechanics, aviation businesses, and airports in a variety of matters including proceedings before the FAA, the NTSB, and state and federal courts. The firm routinely represents and advises clients regarding accidents, aircraft purchases, leasing, hangar construction, tax matters, regulatory compliance, agency investigations, and aviation related commercial disputes, according to officials.
