U.S. aviation fuel prices moved higher again in February 2026, marking the second consecutive month of increases nationwide, according to data from iFlightPlanner.

National 100LL prices moved slightly higher in February. 100LL Full Service averaged $6.43, an increase of $0.06 (0.9%) compared to January, while 100LL Self Service again averaged $5.43, continuing to reflect an approximately 15% savings for aircraft owners who use self-service fuel where available, according to iFlightPlanner officials.

For mogas and UL94, pricing moved in opposite directions in February. UL94 Self Service averaged $6.87, while mogas averaged $4.67, reflecting a month-over-month increase in UL94 and a slight decline in mogas, with both fuels continuing to show limited and highly regional availability nationwide.

National Jet A Full Service averaged $6.41 in February, representing an increase of $0.06 (0.9%) compared to January. Excluding Alaska and Hawaii, Lower 48 Jet A Full Service averaged $6.36, up $0.06 (1.0%).

Regional Jet A Full Service pricing moved higher across most of the Lower 48 in February, led by the Eastern region at $6.59, up $0.20 (3.1%). 100LL Full Service also increased in most regions, while 100LL Self Service remained broadly stable with modest gains in several markets and an isolated decline in the Southwest.

  • Southern: 100LL Full Service averaged $6.24, up $0.05 (0.8%), while 100LL Self Service averaged $5.13, up $0.01 (0.3%). Jet A Full Service averaged $6.42, an increase of $0.17 (2.7%) month over month.
  • Great Lakes: 100LL Self Service averaged $5.35, effectively unchanged month over month, while Jet A Full Service averaged $6.01, an increase of $0.16 (2.7%).
  • Hawaii: 100LL Full Serve decreased to an average of $9.97, down $0.07, a 0.7% decrease from January. The price of 100LL Self Serve fell even more, to an average of $8.75, a $0.17 (1.9%) drop.
  • Alaska: The price of 100LL Full Service also fell, averaging $10.14, a $0.14 (1.4%) drop. However, the price of self service increased $0.02, or .2%, averaging $8.72 in February.

Each month iFlightPlanner collects fuel prices from 3,349 FBOs and fuel service providers across the United States. More than half — 1,887 or 56.3% — reported their prices within the last seven days. The average age of all reported prices is 6.6 days.

The data is distributed to aviation organizations and platforms, including the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA), AeroQuote, Hamilton AI, SkyVector, SurfOS, CharterHub, and more.
