Construction of a new T-Hangar has begun at Geauga County Airport (7G8) in Middlefield, Ohio.
Framework for the structure is now complete, with sheet metal work next, airport officials said.
The construction of the T-hangar addresses a demand for hangar space, as eight aircraft remain on the airport waiting list for hangar space, airport officials add.
Geauga County contributed $800,000 for the $1.2 million project, with an FAA grant making up the difference.
