BARCELONA, Spain — Fremmenn Dynamics, S.L. has introduced E-METAR, a free pre-flight planning tool for pilots and aviation professionals.

According to company officials, the tool provides an operational reading layer on top of raw weather data. Key features include active runway detection per airport, integrated relevant NOTAMs, live ADS-B traffic, and layers evaluating real airport conditions.

The tool covers more than 500 airports.

“Just to clarify, any airport in the world that publishes a METAR, we provide an E-METAR for it — full coverage worldwide,” noted Marc García, Co-Founder of Fremmenn Dynamics.

The difference between E-METAR and METAR is:

  1. The runway set (all runways orientation at an airport)
  2. Critical NOTAMs filtered (runway closures, ILS OTS, airport closures and low fuel supply).

To ensure features answer real cockpit needs, the product’s operational logic was defined by García, a B737 pilot with more than 7,000 flight hours.

The tool is available free of charge at E-METAR.com.
