General Aviation News Of Wings & Things columnist Fred Johnsen spent Memorial Day 2026 at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho, and captured this video.

“The staff and volunteers at Warhawk honor veterans, and those we have lost, with an annual Memorial Day flyover circuit of the Boise area,” Fred shares. “Mark Peterson flew his P-51, called Diamondback, in the overflight along with Warhawk’s own P-51C, Boise Bee, and landed at Warhawk Air Museum.”
