McFarlane Aviation is now partnering with Hutch Aviation to offer its line of Cessna forward doorpost reinforcement service kits.

These Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) kits address known fatigue and cracking issues in the forward doorpost area, the structural region where the wing strut attaches to many strut-braced Cessna models, according to McFarlane officials.

This area has been the focus of FAA AD 2020-18-01, mandating inspection and repair due to decades of stress and structural degradation.

The Hutch service kits reinforce the forward doorpost structure on a wide range of models, including the Cessna 172, 182, 206, 207, and 210.
