Cessna T210 Propeller STC Approved by EASA

By Ben Sclair · July 1, 2026 · Leave a Comment

MT-Propeller four-blade composite propeller installed on a Cessna T210

MT-Propeller has secured an EASA STC for the installation of its MTV-14-D/195-30b four-blade scimitar composite propeller on Cessna T210K and T210L aircraft. The newly approved models join the previously certified P210N, P210R, T210M, T210N, and T210R series, provided they are powered by TCM TSIO-520-P, -R, -CE, or -AF engines. Company officials noted that an application to add the T210K and T210L models to an FAA STC is currently underway.

According to company officials, the new propeller design yields several performance and operational benefits. Such as:

  • 5% better climb
  • 3 to 5kts faster in cruise

The upgrade also delivers superior vibration damping for nearly vibration-free operation and allows aircraft to operate within Switzerland’s lowest noise category, company officials said.

The natural composite blades feature bonded nickel alloy leading edges for enhanced erosion protection and have no operational life limit. Additionally, the propeller’s smaller diameter increases ground clearance to reduce blade tip erosion and foreign object damage (FOD), and the blades remain fully repairable if damage occurs. The system is certified without any RPM restrictions.
