Registration Opens for Free Take Flight With Aviation Influence

By General Aviation News Staff · August 14, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Registration is now open for the 2026 Take FLIGHT with Aviation Influence.

Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Signature Aviation at Atlantic City International Airport (KACY), Take FLIGHT brings together youth, families, educators, college students, young professionals, and aviation industry leaders for “a day of inspiration, exploration, and career discovery,” according to organizers.

New this year is a featured keynote presentation from Team Genius Squad, a nationally recognized platform that inspires young people through innovation, curiosity, entrepreneurship, and hands-on STEM learning.

“At Team Genius Squad, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of. Partnering with Aviation Influence allows us to introduce young people to exciting STEAM interests they may have never imagined while showing them that curiosity, creativity, and confidence can truly take them anywhere,” said Tita Simmons, President of Team Genius Squad. “We can’t wait to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, pilots, and problem-solvers.”

Also new for 2026 is:

  • An Authors Corner curated by airline pilot and author Erin Murphy, featuring aviation books, select author appearances, and book signings.
  • A Young Professional Hub (18+) with networking, career development, mentorship, and aviation workforce discussions.
  • A professional headshot studio (ages 18-25, advance RSVP required during registration).

Returning activities include:

  • Interactive aircraft displays and immersive aviation experiences.
  • Hands-on STEAM activities and technology demonstrations.
  • Aviation colleges, universities, flight schools, career organizations, and industry exhibitors.
  • Educational presentations, keynote sessions, and industry panels.
  • A digital Silent Auction benefiting Aviation Influence scholarships and youth programming.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free with advance registration.
