Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA) has released its 2027-2028 Remote Pilot Test Prep, designed to help drone pilots pass their tests “with knowledge that lasts,” according to ASA officials.
Flying a drone for anything other than recreational purposes requires a Remote Pilot Certificate. To earn a Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Small UAS) Rating and operate a drone under Part 107, applicants must pass the FAA Unmanned Aircraft Knowledge Test.
The updated study guide is organized into chapters based on subject matter to promote understanding and aid recall, ASA officials noted. Question and answer options are supported by instructional text and illustrations, explanations for correct and incorrect answers, and references for further study.
Readers can use the book to get familiar with the test content, then use Prepware Online to review study guides by subject, create custom quizzes, and take unlimited practice tests. The ASA Test Prep book and Prepware Online include the same figures, legends, and full-color charts that are provided at the testing center.
The book is available in softcover and as an eBook for $29.95, which includes Prepware Online.
