Free Fly-In and Air Show Prepares for Takeoff at KSHR

The 13th Annual Sheridan County Airport (KSHR) Open House, Fly-In & Air Show will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026.

Held by the Sheridan Pilots Association, the free event kicks off at 8 a.m. at the Wyoming airport with a free pancake breakfast, followed by an air show at 10 a.m. featuring Allen Cook in his T-28, Yuichi Takagi in his Pitts Special S-2S, Nick Slabakov flying his Extra 330LX, and the Undaunted team of Stephen Christopher in his RV-7 and Todd Rudberg in his RV-8.

Pilots are invited to fly in to enjoy the free event and display their aircraft. Local pilots will also have their aircraft on display, as well as local law enforcement, first responders, search and rescue, and more, according to organizers. There also will be a car show.
