Caldwell Executive Airport (KEUL) in Idaho will celebrate its 50th anniversary Sept. 5, 2026, with a day of activities, including a fly-in.
The airport’s history began in 1971 when local leaders purchased 460 acres off Interstate 84 to create a new airfield. Originally named Caldwell Industrial Airport, the field opened for operations in 1976.
Managed by the City of Caldwell Airport Department, KEUL is Idaho’s busiest general aviation airport.
The anniversary celebrations, which will be held at Vertical Venues at the airport from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., include a fly-in for pilots, an artisan market, a live band, food, and more.
