Sporty’s has introduced the Pilot Portable Potty, which gives pilots and passengers a way to handle in-flight bathroom needs without adding another complication to the flight, according to company officials.
“An unexpected bathroom break can turn into a flight-planning consideration, especially on longer legs,” Sporty’s officials noted. “Pilots may find themselves considering a fuel stop, an unplanned diversion, or how an unexpected stop could affect the flight. Having a portable relief option onboard eliminates one more variable to manage and provides peace of mind when the nearest airport is still miles away.”
The Pilot Portable Potty uses an absorbent, odor-neutralizing pouch that gels liquid to prevent spills and contain odors. A specially designed foam collar provides a secure fit for men, women, and children, while a built-in spill guard helps prevent backflow during use, Sporty’s officials noted. The individual pouches can be used while sitting or standing.
