The Aviation Council of Pennsylvania (ACP) will host its Airport Roundtable on Nov. 3, 2026, at 11 a.m., focusing on how airports can leverage continuous flight-tracking metrics.
Bobby Walston, vice president of aviation development at 1200.aero and former North Carolina director of aviation, will present “From Estimates to Evidence: The Value of Airport Operations Data.” The virtual session focuses on shifting away from manual counts and periodic estimates toward continuous monitoring systems.
According to ACP officials, reliable operations data enables airport managers and state aviation agencies to better understand activity patterns, guide long-term planning, and justify capital improvement investments. Walston will highlight real-world examples from airports and state programs nationwide to show how year-round operational intelligence aids infrastructure development and grant funding applications.
