SkyWay Group Secures FAA PMA for SkyFlush Lavatory

By General Aviation News Staff · October 30, 2026 · Leave a Comment

The SkyWay Group received FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) for its SkyFlush lavatory modification designed for Cessna Citation CJ-series business jets.

The approval covers both the engineering design and the production quality system used to manufacture and assemble the kits, confirming that the modification meets applicable FAA requirements for aircraft parts manufacturing, according to company officials.

Designed as an alternative to the factory configuration, the modification replaces the original toilet with a flushing system that stores waste for removal through an externally accessible service panel compatible with standard ground servicing procedures.

“Receiving FAA PMA approval for SkyFlush represents an important milestone for SkyWay and Citation CJ-series operators,” said SkyWay CEO Mark Huffstutler. “Our goal is to deliver a practical, well-engineered lavatory solution backed by our decades of aviation manufacturing experience and our commitment to quality.”

PMA-certified kits for Citation CJ, CJ1, CJ2, and CJ3 series aircraft are now available to qualified installation facilities.
