Spectrum Aeromed has appointed William “Bill” Engelking and Carson Tveito to its engineering department to bolster technical capabilities across a growing range of aircraft platforms and customer programs.

Engelking brings more than 13 years of aerospace engineering experience to the role, having most recently worked as a staff powerplant systems engineer at Cirrus Aircraft. His background covers aircraft systems integration, flight testing, engineering analysis, technical documentation, and compliance. In his new position, he will assist in the design and development of air medical equipment, including 3D modeling, engineering drawings, structural analysis, and documentation required for FAA certification.

Tveito joined the company in May 2024, advancing through three internship positions in production, manufacturing engineering, and mechanical engineering. After completing his degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University in December 2026, he will begin full-time engineering duties at the facility, according to company officials.
“Bill and Carson bring two different but equally valuable perspectives to our engineering team,” said Shannon Schell, president of Spectrum Aeromed. “Bill brings extensive aircraft certification and systems experience, while Carson has developed a strong understanding of our products and processes through his progression at Spectrum. We’re excited to have both contributing to our continued growth.”
