Genoa Labs Launches Maverick Platform for Flight Schools

By General Aviation News Staff · November 4, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Genoa Labs launched Maverick, a compliance and record-keeping software platform designed for Part 61 flight schools and independent flight instructors.

Developed by flight instructor Noah Lencki and co-founder Owen Lencki, the software aims to replace paper binders and generic spreadsheets with tools tailored to smaller flight training operations. The system was refined through daily operations at Celestial Kinetics Flight Academy in Waupaca, Wisconsin, according to the developers.

Maverick provides live tracking against FAA regulatory minimums for each certificate track, displaying estimated checkride-readiness windows so instructors can see remaining requirements before practical tests. The system also manages digital endorsements issued from current AC 61-65 templates, auto-filling instructor credentials and sending alerts before 90-day solo endorsements, medical certificates, and knowledge-test windows expire.

A key feature of the platform automatically logs the weather conditions during each training flight. The software captures AviationWeather.gov observations for the airport and hour of the lesson, including the calculated crosswind component for the runway used, helping instructors and students establish documented personal minimums based on actual flight experience.

“Compliance and record-keeping are critical for flight schools and cannot be overlooked,” said Noah Lencki. “My intention with Maverick is to simplify that process for CFIs and school administrators while providing robust tools to run the school, measure success, and support student progress across the whole training organization.”

Additional platform capabilities include prospective student tracking, student portals with study materials, transfer-student logbook imports, and custom stage-check checklists.

According to company officials, pricing starts at $49 per month for a single airplane and $15 per month for each additional aircraft, with no limits on student or instructor accounts.
