AOPA To Host Aviation Career Expo in Phoenix

By General Aviation News Staff · November 6, 2026 · Leave a Comment

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) will host its first Aviation Career Expo Nov. 13-14, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, connecting job seekers with airlines, manufacturers, flight schools, and aviation service providers.

According to AOPA officials, the two-day gathering covers careers across the industry, including pilots, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, and airport operations personnel. On-site career assistance includes resume reviews, interview preparation, and logbook consultations.

“Every corner of this industry is short on talent, and we hear it from employers all the time. Fortunately, AOPA is in a strong position to bring those employers together with the people who want to work for them,” said Katie Pribyl, AOPA acting co-president.

Michelle “MACE” Curran, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot who served as lead solo pilot for the Thunderbirds, will serve as a featured speaker. Curran is scheduled to discuss entering military flight training without prior flight experience and how key decisions shaped her career path, followed by an audience question-and-answer session.

Admission is free for AOPA members and attendees ages 20 and under. Registration for non-members is $89, which includes a one-year association membership.
