Taxiing Remos GX Hits Cessna 172

By General Aviation News Staff · November 6, 2026 · Leave a Comment

The pilot of the Remos GX reported that while taxiing to the run-up area at the airport in Prescott, Arizona, he misjudged the distance between his left wing and the Cessna 172 that was performing a run-up in the run-up area.

The left wing of the Remos hit the propeller of the C172, resulting in substantial damage to the left wing and aileron. The Cessna sustained minor damage to the propeller.

Probable Cause: The Remos pilot’s failure to maintain clearance from another airplane while taxiing, which resulted in a ground collision.

NTSB Identification: 195517
