Kentucky pilot wins Young Eagles award

Gordon Davis, a member of EAA Chapter 1522 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, has been named the winner of the 2024 Phillips 66 Aviation Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles Leadership Award.

Companies partner to develop engine monitoring for Aspen MFDs

The new engine monitoring features, currently in development, are “designed to provide precise engine data in an intuitive format to enhance pilot safety and aircraft performance with intuitive engine instrumentation,” on Aspen’s Evolution MFD500 MAX and MFD1000 MAX multi-function displays, according to Aspen Avionics officials.

NFL’s Jimmy Graham named chairman of Young Eagles

Graham succeeds air show legend Sean D. Tucker, who served as Young Eagles chairman since 2013. As he moves into the full chairman role, Graham is the seventh person to hold that position, joining Cliff Robertson, Gen. Chuck Yeager, Harrison Ford, Sully Sullenberger, Jeff Skiles, and Tucker.
