I tied the airplane down securely then applied decorations to the yard, including lights for the airplane. A few days later, right on schedule, came a beautiful snow creating this wonderful photo opportunity. Merry Christmas to all.”

Bob Bement submitted this photo and note: “I was on a cross-country flight from Flagstaff, Arizona, to my home base of Vale, Oregon (S49). I had to be above 14,500 feet to stay clear of the Grand Canyon airspace. I snapped this picture of the Grand Canyon. I was in my 1959 Cessna 182. I am a 1934 model and so we had 145 years of experience to make this flight. I will celebrate my 86th birthday on Dec. 20, 2020.”
