“Balloon launch during the evening portion of the air show at the SUN ‘n FUN Flying Festival and Car Show, held Dec. 4-5, 2020, at Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL). My plane, a Grumman AA5 Traveler, was on display and was in the right place at the right time when I took this picture.”

It offered a variety of activities, one being a “build it“ class. This particular class built rockets. One of the high lights was to do a tour of West Michigan Regional Airport (KBIV) in Holland Michigan. The kids really enjoyed the tour!”

An aircraft engine will never know which way gravity is pulling when the pilot keeps a positive g-load while maneuvering.”
