Actor to speak at ‘Top Gun’ screening
On Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. the Museum of Flight in Seattle will screen the 1986 film about hot-shot Navy fighter pilots, “Top Gun,” followed by a special appearance by actor Tom Skerritt, who portrayed “Viper” in the movie. The program is part of the museum’s 2011 celebration of the Centennial of Naval Aviation.

Lisa Airplanes launches Akoya LSA
France-based Lisa Airplanes has opened the order book for its amphibious ski-plane named Akoya.
