Seattle Avionics adds GlassView Moving Map/EFB

Seattle Avionics has launched its new GlassView Moving Map/EFB software, the latest tool for the company’s Voyager Flight Software System. GlassView adapts to pilots’ needs during all phases of flight. Besides showing basic GPS information, the moving map automatically displays the nearest airport, navaid and airspace information as the airplane’s position changes.

WSI adds flight plan filing

WSI Corp. has added integrated FAA Flight Plan Submission capability to its Pilotbrief Pro product line. Using a WSI system, pilots can plot a flight route, evaluate the impact of weather on their flight and, with one click, file their flight plans for approval with the FAA.

Continental to power Seawind

The Seawind 300C, an amphibious four-place airplane, will be powered by the Continental IO-550N 310-hp engine. FADEC (Fully Automated Digital Electronic Control) will be offered as an option. NBAA moves convention 2005 to Orlando

GAMA reports increased deliveries
