Virga adds Android availability

All PIREPs submitted through Virga are synced to the national Aviation Weather Center database at AviationWeather.gov and appear on all platforms that show PIREPs.

Bob Showalter submitted these photos and a note: “Dove 31 is a Citation X passing Dove 26, a Citation XL. We were both flying the arrival for the Special Olympics airlift into KORL on June 12, 2022. Dove 31 was at FL410, Dove 26 at 40,000 feet. Yes a Citation X is a lot faster than a Citation XL. We all had a wonderful time moving these special athletes and coaches back and forth to the games!”

In less than two years, Airplanes & Coffee has expanded outside the Dallas area and become a non-profit organization that offers scholarships to help defray some of the costs of getting into general aviation.
