New LED landing and taxi light to debut at SUN ‘n FUN
In landing mode, the Equinox will output a 20°X20° bright white beam for high-speed takeoffs and landings. While in taxi mode, the light produces a wider 20°X50° beam spread that outputs a solid and evenly distributed light pattern for illumination of the runway/taxiway without impairing the vision of other pilots, officials explain.

Reviving the Luscombe legacy
Aeronautical engineer Steve Testrake and Stephen Young acquired the Luscombe assets in June of 2019, creating Luscombe Aircraft Corporation to produce new planes, as well as parts of the existing Luscombe fleet. “Our goal is to revive the legacy of the Luscombe.”

April 6, 2021, marked the 97th anniversary of the official start of the Douglas World Cruiser’s historic flight around the world. To mark the occasion, the Seattle World Cruiser Team put together a video that highlights events from that 1924 flight, as well as some milestone events from the project’s timeline.
Sport League racing season prepares for takeoff
