In the most recent TBM newsletter, there was an interesting story of a traditional Buddhist blessing for a new TBM 930 delivered to Anutin Charnvirakul, who previously owned a TBM 850 (SN 624).
Illinois Valley Regional Airport (KVYS), also known as Walter A. Duncan Field in Peru, Ill., hosted a TBM reunion April 16. According to Albert Dyer, who sent in these photos, “Perfect weather welcomed the 10 TBMs that made Illinois Valley home for the weekend. Many other historic military aircraft also made the flight, as well as dozens of antique civilian aircraft.” [Read more…]
￼￼Daher’s latest member in its very fast turboprop product line — the TBM 900 — has reached the century mark with the 100th aircraft delivery.
The milestone TBM 900 was received by U.S. customer Dale Schneider, a North Carolina businessman who is an active airplane and helicopter pilot, having logged more than 3,000 hours. Schneider’s first aircraft was a TBM 700C2 version, which he purchased in 2006 and has flown some 1,000 hours. [Read more…]
