Nearly 90 TBM aircraft, representing the complete product line from the TBM 700 to the TBM 850, TBM 900, TBM 910, TBM 930, TBM 940 and the latest TBM 960 version, were gathered at Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (KCOS).
Version 6 of the flight monitoring app includes a variety of enhancements, including the flexibility to identify specific types of flights, automatic data transfer to other popular apps, such as CloudAhoy, and more.
The milestone delivery occurred in October 2022, when the new owner, Bruce McCollum, an active private pilot who previously owned a TBM 850 and a TBM 900, picked up his TMB 960 at Daher’s headquarters in Tarbes, France.
The TBM Owners and Pilots Association (TBMOPA) met in late September in Nashville for the association’s 2022 convention, attracting owners of all versions of the TBM.
The new marketplace includes parts for all Daher aircraft, as well other products such as tow bars, pitot covers, headsets, and branded merchandise.
On opening day of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, Daher introduced the Kodiak 900, a larger, faster version of the Kodiak 100.
The annual convention, which drew 101 TBMs and more than 280 people, also raised more than $207,000 for the TBMOPA Foundation, which offers safety seminars, advanced training programs, and scholarships.
Since 1991, Waltz has delivered more than 200 TBMs to the North American market.
The 1,000th TBM is a TBM 940 destined for an owner in the United States.
